Υπόθεση:
Δεκαοκτώ χρόνια μετά την πρώτη αποστολή των Blues Brothers,
ο Elwood Blues (Dan Aykroyd) αποφυλακίζεται μόνο για να ανακαλύψει ότι
ο αδελφός του δεν υπάρχει πια, το ορφανοτροφείο που είχε μεγαλώσει έχει
κατεδαφιστεί και η μπάντα τους έχει για άλλη μία φορά διαλυθεί.
Με την βοήθεια ενός μπάρμαν (John Goodman) και ενός παραστρατημένου
ορφανού (Erykan Badu) προσπαθεί να συγκεντρώσει για άλλη μια
φορά την παλιά μπάντα, καταστρέφοντας τα πάντα στο πέρασμα του.

Στην σκιά της πρώτης ταινίας, η συνέχεια του Blues Brothers
διασώζεται τελικά από τους γρήγορους ρυθμούς και την
μουσική της, αφού και αυτή την φορά παρελαύνουν μεγάλα
ονόματα της Rhythm and Blues, όπως οι BB King,
Aretha Franklin, James Brown, Johnny Lang,
Blues Traveler, Eric Clapton.

Trivia:
Macaulay Culkin was considered for the role of Buster.

The telephone booth that Elwood goes in has graffiti on it that reads
"Max" and "Rachel", the names of director John Landis's children.

The list of names that Elwood (Dan Aykroyd) gives as a reason to not
quit ends with Robert K. Weiss, the studio executive who convinced
Aykroyd and Landis not to quit the film.

When the Russians roll their car, they get out and one of them says
"They broke my watch!" in Russian. This is in reference to a running
gag in the first Blues Brothers movie, where a cop is heard
complaining that "They broke my watch!" after every major pile-up,
beginning with the cop roll and slide in the mall chase.

Is in the 2000 Guinness Book of World Records for having the
most car crashes in a motion picture.

James Belushi was originally set to co-star with Aykroyd and Goodman,
but couldn't, due to scheduling conflicts.

Both Blues Brothers movies begin with a song by Taj Mahal
("She Caught The Katy" in The Blues Brothers (1980)
and "John The Revelator" in this film).

In one scene, Cab ('Joe Morton') mentions that when the
Blues Brothers last performed anywhere, they caused,
among other things, damages costing $24 million, which
was the budget of the original The Blues Brothers (1980)

When the Blues Brothers are playing "Ghost Riders In the Sky"
at the bluegrass festival, we can hear Elwood say "Duck,
give me a mountain tempo in A minor".
In the first Blues Brothers film, when they need to play country music,
and decide on "Theme from Rawhide", someone in the band asks
"What key?", and Duck Dunn answers: "A. Good country key, A."

Cab Chamberlain, played by 'Joe Morton', has the same
first name as the musician Cab Calloway, who played Curtis
in the The Blues Brothers (1980). Cab Chamberlain is the
biological son of Curtis. It would seem that 'Joe Mortons''
character is named after Calloway in his honor.

The "new" Bluesmobile is a 1991 Ford LTD Crown Victora.

Dan Aykroyd reportedly lost 90 lbs to reprise the role of Elwood Blues.

Just before "Ghost Riders in the Sky", the emcee of the festival
introduces the final car stunt performer as "Dare-devil driver star,
