Leading clubbing super-brand Pacha prove why they’ve been at the forefront of dance music for over forty years with their latest superb compilation which amps up the voltage, Pacha Future Dance 2013.
The first Pacha club was opened just outside Barcelona in 1967 and shortly after Pacha Ibiza opened in 1973 and celebrates its fortieth anniversary this year. Ever since then, Pacha has been dominating the clubbing and dance music scene and nowadays you can find a Pacha nightclub in spots all across the globe spanning countries from America to Egypt.
Pacha Future Dance 2013 is a salute to the influence the super-club has had on dance music since its inception, but with a particular focus on future dance music this time around and the exciting prospect of where it is heading.
MIX01 starts off with deadmau5’ ‘The Veldt’ remixed by Tommy Trash before making its way effortlessly through tracks from the likes of the huge ‘Not A Saint’ from Vato Gonzalez, Donae’o and Lethal Bizzle to the equally massive ‘Greyhound’ by Swedish House Mafia. Basto’s infectious re-work of Spandau Ballet’s 80s hit ‘Gold’ also features, and the anthemic ‘We Don’t Belong In Pacha Club Mix’ of Emeli Sande’s timeless ‘Heaven’ concludes proceedings on the first mix.
Get ready to hear a fresh take on a classic as MIX02 kicks off with album exclusive Turntable Orchestra’s ‘You’re Gonna Miss Me’ remixed by Paul Ursin for 2013. And the exclusives don’t stop there, as the slick Rudedog Dub of ‘Way I Dance’ by Can Bener features as a standout inclusion in the flawless mix.
